Interview Grooming Checklist

Aviation interviews place extremely high weight on grooming and attire. Tick off your items to verify readiness.

Grooming Specs

1. Attire / Outfit

Crisp, ironed formal white half-sleeved shirt (most airlines prefer half sleeves to inspect scars/tattoos). Knee-length formal pencil skirt (females) or formal trousers (males). Dark colors preferred (black/navy). Polished formal shoes. Closed-toe pump heels (2-3 inches, no block heels/sandals) for women or oxford shoes for men.

2. Face & Makeup Standards

Flawless foundation base matching skin tone. No patches. Red or deep rose-pink lipstick (bright shades are highly preferred by IndiGo and Air India). Neat eyeliner and single coat of mascara. Clean eyebrows. Clean-shaven look for males.

3. Hair Styling

High bun with a neat hairnet (donut bun is standard for long hair) or neatly styled short hair. No loose baby hair. Secure with hair wax, spray or black bobby pins.

4. Mandatory Accessories

Classic formal watch with a leather or metal strap (essential tool for crew). Neat folder with 2 printed resumes, 10th & 12th certificates, passport copies, and 2 passport-sized & full-length formal photos.

Tip: Look in a full-length mirror before entering the venue.
